The UK’s churches, chapels and meeting houses are some of the most beautiful and historic buildings in the world.

But these places of worship also have huge value to people in need.

From food banks and after-school care to drug and alcohol support clinics, church buildings house a growing number of essential activities and services.

The National Churches Trust is a charity dedicated to supporting church buildings across the UK. In 2020, they commissioned a study which allowed them to quantify for the first time the welfare and wellbeing churches create in our communities – and the existential threat they face.

The Trust wanted these findings to make an impact – on policymakers, on donors, on communities. So they turned to Lark.

Lark turned a long academic report full of detailed analysis and esoteric terminology into a short, hard-hitting and great-looking report summary, with urgent, incisive campaign-style copy brought to life by beautifully designed visual spreads and infographics.
