St John Ambulance
Brand roll-out

England's first aid charity, St John Ambulance, came to Lark with refreshed visual and verbal brand guidelines – and the challenge of rolling out the new brand across the whole organisation.

What we did

Copywriting
Design
Sub-brand development
Photoshoot production and art direction

This was big. First a huge amount of rollout planning, prioritisation and inevitable seat-of-the-pants reprioritisation with the St John team.

Then multiple, concurrent creative brand projects – from new photoshoots to sub brand identities, fundraising activations to new illustrations, volunteer materials, merchandise, signage. Oh, and a fast turnaround annual report for good luck.

We've included just a few highlights here.

Photoshoots for the new brand.

Bringing a new visual and verbal brand to life is a challenge. Taking it from the pages of brand guidelines and translating it into real-world application – and overcoming all the obstacles that unavoidably arise when you go from theory into practice – takes creativity, skill, patience and understanding.

And we love that.

More importantly, St John Ambulance has loved working with us.

The work is still ongoing. But, so far, we've hit every milestone to get St John to public launch, and are excited about helping this brilliant charity change and save lives for generations to come.
